Chris Dohrmann

Chris Dohrmann is a board-certified orthopedic physical therapist with over 12 years of clinical experience treating patients throughout the Washington, DC area. He holds advanced fellowship training in orthopedic manual physical therapy and is completing a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy at Bellin College. His work centers on thoughtful clinical reasoning, evidence-informed care, and individualized treatment built around each person's goals, environment, and demands.

Chris owns and practices at Foundry Physio and Health in Washington, DC. He is deeply committed to advancing the profession through mentorship, teaching, and lifelong learning, with a focus on person-centered care and durable outcomes.

Chris also brings elements of education and health coaching into his care, as appropriate, and is excited to serve the Iona Senior Services community as well as the broader Tenleytown and Northwest Washington community. Outside the clinic, he stays active through cycling, running, and resistance training, and enjoys spending time with his wife.

Chris is an active contributor to the physical therapy evidence base and a frequent educator at the local and national level. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy (DSc) at Bellin College, with research interests in manual therapy methodology and physical therapy education.
